About this file
This is a Request for Information (RFI) issued by the Department of the Air Force's 502d Air Base Wing at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) seeking market research for replacing a heating boiler in Building 575 at JBSA-Randolph, Texas. The RFI aims to identify potential contractors capable of providing equipment and installation services for a new, energy-efficient, and code-compliant gas-fired boiler system, with specific requests for information including business size, socioeconomic designations, capability statements, installation lead times, and vendor registration status in SAM.gov and Wide Area Work Flow (WAWF).
The solicitation (F2M3CB5152A001) is currently in the pre-solicitation phase, with the government seeking detailed input from potential vendors about their ability to furnish supervision, labor, materials, tools, equipment, and quality assurance for removing and replacing the existing boiler system. Respondents are asked to provide cost inputs for brand name products, standard delivery and installation times, and NAICS code information (primarily NAICS 333414 for Heating Equipment Manufacturing). The RFI is voluntary and will not result in immediate contract award, but will be used by the Contracting Officer for technical and acquisition planning purposes.
