About this file
This document details the minimum salient characteristics for a replacement boiler system at Joint Base San Antonio (JBSA) Randolph, TX. The specifications include a gas-fired, non-condensing boiler with a preferred Fulton brand or equivalent, requiring 300,000 BTU/hour input and 270,000 BTU/hour output. Technical requirements specify a design pressure of 100 PSI, a relief valve capacity of at least 270,000 BTU/hour, manifold gas pressure of 2.8 inches water column, and electrical requirements of 120 Volts, 60 Hz. These detailed specifications are part of a pre-solicitation market research effort by the Department of the Air Force Air Education and Training Command to identify potential contractors for replacing the existing boiler system in Building 575.
