About this file

The document is a standard purchase order terms and conditions document for the Northern Wasco County People's Utility District (NWCPUD), a local government utility agency in Oregon. The terms and conditions outline the comprehensive legal and operational requirements for contractors doing business with NWCPUD, covering everything from delivery expectations and product warranties to compliance requirements, inspection procedures, and payment terms.

Key highlights include specific provisions for goods delivery (Delivered Duty Paid), contractor responsibilities for product quality and safety, compliance with federal and state laws (including Oregon Workers' Compensation Law and OSHA requirements), payment terms of Net 30 days, and equal employment opportunity expectations. The document also includes important clauses about independent contractor status, force majeure provisions, prevailing wage requirements, and the exclusive nature of this agreement, which supersedes any other terms or conditions proposed by the vendor.
