About this file
These documents are monthly service reports from Global Water Technology, Inc. for water treatment services at the Oklahoma Veterans Centers Clinton Veterans Center, spanning February through April 2025. The reports detail comprehensive water quality monitoring and maintenance for multiple cooling tower and closed loop systems, including BAC Tower 1, BAC Tower 2, BAC Closed System, Reymsa Cooling Tower, and Reymsa Closed Loop. During monthly site visits, a senior analyst conducted water chemistry testing, measured various parameters like conductivity, pH, alkalinity, hardness, and chlorides, and made chemical feed adjustments to maintain optimal system performance.
The recurring service reports reveal ongoing water treatment challenges, with most systems frequently falling outside recommended ranges for scale and corrosion control. Notably, the technician repeatedly noted that previously added chemistry had caused leaks, preventing further chemical treatments until explicitly instructed otherwise. This situation risks continued corrosion of system piping. The service reports consistently recommend minimizing risk and maximizing efficiency, warning that failure to follow recommendations could increase the facility's risk of contamination, corrosion, scaling, or system failure. The reports also reference ASHRAE Standard 188-2015, suggesting the need for a compliant water management program including proactive biological testing.

Opening Comment The purpose of my visit today was to perform service for all systems. Some adjustments were made to the chemical feed for the tower systems.
Make Up Online The makeup will be tested each service visit to determine is adjustments to the water treatment programs are required. We established a baseline today.
BAC Tower 1 Online Tower one was low on scale inhibitor. The chemical pump has been adjusted to feed more inhibitor.
PTSA
The chemical pump has been adjusted. I will continue to monitor this and make more adjustments as needed.
BAC Tower 2 Online This cooling tower system was highly out of range for proper scale and corrosion protection.

The chemical pump has been adjusted. I will continue to monitor this and make adjustments as needed.
BAC Closed System Online We were told that chemistry was previously added and leaks presented themselves. GWT will not add any chemistry until we are told to do so. Corrosion of the system piping will continue without chemical protection.
Reymsa Cooling Tower Online This tower was within range for proper scale and corrosion control.
Reymsa Closed Loop Online We were told that chemistry was previously added and leaks presented themselves. GWT will not add any chemistry until we are told to do so. Corrosion of the system piping will continue without chemical protection.

The above recommendations are designed to minimize risk and maximize efficiency. Failure to adhere to recommendations may put your system and facility at an increased risk of contamination, corrosion, scaling or system failure. Notify your rep of any current or upcoming system changes. GWT advises facilities falling under the scope of ASHRAE Standard 188-2015 and subsequent revisions to assemble a compliant water management program including proactive biological testing (Legionella).
