16. REMARKS

Block 4: As a part of the SSDD, the contractor shall deliver a complete Product Level Drawing Package in accordance with MIL-STD-31000A, that completely documents the system designs. All drawings shall comply with ASME Y14.100, ASME Y14.24 and ASME Y14.34. This drawing package shall include assembly drawings and detail drawings down to the piece part for all items designed and developed at Government expense and provide all design, engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance requirements necessary to enable the procurement or manufacture of an interchangeable item which duplicates the physical and performance characteristics of the original product, without additional design, engineering or recourse to the original design activity. This drawing package shall also include control drawings for all COTS items that do not conform to recognized Government or industry specifications, NDI, and items developed at private expense for which the Government has not acquired unlimited rights. The control drawings shall provide the applicable performance specification, form, fit, function and interface information needed for competitive re-procurement of that item or an interchangeable item. The contractor shall also deliver any digital modeling data files developed in support of this Product Drawing Package or the System design. The contractor shall include a production-level drawing of the System data plate that will facilitate reproduction/fabrication in support of future repair/replacement activities. The contractor shall include a full functional description of each LRU which clearly describes all the functions it performs when operating, as would be required to develop the necessary functional tests and to identify areas where functions need not be tested if they are not used by the system. The contractor shall deliver a pin list which lists all pins, each pin’s functions, signal characteristics, and signal tolerances, as would be required to duplicate the signal in a system environment. Input power pin information should include the required voltage level, current requirement, and associated tolerances. Analog input information should list the input voltage range, tolerances, current requirement, and frequency. The contractor shall deliver a system interconnects diagram, as required to aid in the understanding of the system operation. The contractor shall deliver Full descriptions of each external data bus (i.e. RS-232, CAN, Mil-Std-1553, non-standard, etc.) in terms of hardware requirements, to include all the command and response words utilized by the unit as well as timing and voltage level requirements
