About this file

This cost sheet is a pricing submission form for the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks' Request for Proposal for interpretive signage and exhibits for a new visitor center facility. The project encompasses five phases: research, planning, and concept development; detailed design and content development; fabrication; installation; and project documentation and closeout. Deliverables include interior interpretive panels in three sizes (small up to 24" x 36", medium up to 36" x 48", and large up to 48" x 72"), freestanding interpretive panels, interactive and hands-on exhibits such as flip panels, discovery drawers, tactile or relief map displays, and spinning or rotating elements, and orientation and wayfinding signage including interior directional signs, park orientation maps, trail maps, and facility identification signs. The proposal must also include pricing for exterior signage such as building identification signs, exterior orientation kiosks, and trailhead interpretive panels. The bid event opened March 25, 2026, with proposals due May 6, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. CDT. The contract term extends from award through June 30, 2029, with an option to renew for one additional twenty-four-month period. Deliverables must ship to 512 SE 25th Avenue, Pratt, Kansas 67124-9701 by July 30, 2026.

Bidders must submit all pricing on an all-inclusive basis covering labor, materials, travel, shipping, overhead, and profit, organized by project phase and unit pricing for each exhibit category and panel size. The cost sheet requires unit pricing for material options with cost differentials, including high-pressure laminate with aluminum backer, embedded fiberglass with UV-stable graphics, direct print on aluminum composite with anti-graffiti laminate, and acrylic or polycarbonate with subsurface printing. Additional pricing must address ADA compliance add-ons such as Braille text integration, tactile graphics, audio description stations, and large-print companion panels, as well as optional digital and multimedia elements including touchscreen interactive displays, audio listening stations, video displays with looping content, and digital content development. All travel costs for site visits, meetings, and installation, as well as shipping and freight for fabricated components, must be included in the total project cost, with no separate reimbursement permitted by KDWP. Payment terms are Net 30 days from receipt of goods or services, with contractors required to accept payment via electronic funds transfer.
