About this file
This document is an Amendment #1 issued by the State of Tennessee Department of Military for Event 34101-13703, which concerns a mammal survey. The amendment addresses two key questions from potential bidders regarding survey methodology and budget constraints. The first question sought clarification on survey comparability with past data, with the state offering to share previous survey documentation via OneDrive. The second question confirmed that the maximum liability for the project should not exceed $115,000, which the state affirmed.
The amendment provides specific guidance for bidders, indicating that the survey should be conducted in a manner consistent with historical data collection efforts. The state is willing to facilitate information sharing by directly providing past survey reports to interested parties. The maximum budget of $115,000 sets a clear financial boundary for the project, and potential bidders are expected to submit proposals that meet or are below this threshold. The amendment is dated August 20, 2025, and becomes effective immediately upon release, with all other original terms and conditions remaining in full force.

QUESTION / COMMENT STATE RESPONSE
1 The SOW states that surveys will be conducted so they are comparable with past survey data. There can be quite a bit of variability in the level of effort researchers put into mammal surveys so in order to provide a bid that will encompass the appropriate data collection from past surveys, could you provide either the past survey reports or the number of survey days that would be comparable?
The State has the past survey but it’s too big to send by Edison or email.
Contact me directly sharon.pope@tn.gov and I will create a folder in One Drive and share that way.
2 In the Terms document, it says “Maximum liability should not exceed $115K”. Can you confirm that means the submitted bid needs to be equal to or under this amount?
Confirmed
2. Event Amendment Effective Date. The revisions set forth herein shall be effective upon release.
All other terms and conditions of this Event not expressly amended herein shall remain in full force and effect.
