About this file
This Addendum 1 document is issued by the Texas Military Department in response to the Request for Information (RFI) for prefabricated temporary modular office buildings at Camp Mabry in Austin, Texas. The addendum, effective May 28, 2026, provides respondents with the attachment referenced in the RFI's Section D—specifically, Attachment ENC-1_Camp Mabry BLD8 Trailer Placement, which displays the planned site placement for the project. The RFI seeks vendor information on capabilities, features, compliance, scalability, and relevant experience for temporary modular office buildings that must accommodate up to 150 personnel with a functional mix of 25% enclosed offices and 75% open modular workspace. The modular building must include two conference rooms, two secure areas, restrooms with optional showers, and full electrical, HVAC, lighting, and data network distribution. RFI responses are due July 14, 2026, with mandatory site visits scheduled for June 9, 2026, at 1:00 PM CT and June 10, 2026, at 10:00 AM CT at Building 37, Camp Mabry. Written questions are due June 18, 2026, at 4:00 PM CT, with answers posted by approximately June 30, 2026. The building will support temporary office needs during building renovations estimated to run from March 2027 through March 2030.
Respondents must provide estimated costs for rental, setup, and removal for planning purposes; describe service models including maintenance and removal services; provide optional upgrade pricing; and include estimated lead time and delivery schedules. Cost comparisons for rental versus lease-to-own options are required. The Texas Military Department explicitly states that this is an information-gathering exercise only, placing no obligation on the department, and responses do not make respondents deemed bidders or grant any preference or advantage in any subsequent procurement. All responses become TMD property and will be available for public inspection without redaction; respondents must not submit proprietary or confidential information, which will be rejected as non-responsive. Responses must be submitted via email in searchable PDF format to FY26RFIPORT@cfmo.mil.texas.gov. The Texas Military Department will not compensate respondents for response costs, and presentations may be requested at the respondent's expense. Receipt of all addenda must be acknowledged by returning a signed copy of the signature page with the response.
