About this file
This document is a vendor information exhibit for the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Online Bid Room, which provides guidance on submitting solicitation responses electronically through the DPS portal. The exhibit outlines the optional electronic submission process available to vendors responding to state solicitations. The document does not specify particular products, services, quantities, response dates, or contract terms, as it serves as a procedural guide rather than a specific solicitation. Instead, it directs vendors to reference the complete solicitation package for all substantive requirements, including submission deadlines, delivery methods, and evaluation criteria.
The document emphasizes that use of the DPS Online Bid Room is voluntary and subject to all terms and conditions specified in the individual solicitation package. Vendor registration requires completion of a two-step process through https://texasdps.appianportalsgov.com/vendor-management, with credentials typically delivered within two business days. The exhibit stresses that vendors must allow adequate time for registration to meet submission deadlines, as late responses are not accepted and technical difficulties do not constitute grounds for protest. Supporting resources including vendor tutorials, user guides, and frequently asked questions are available to assist with navigation and submission procedures. Submission confirmation is provided automatically through the online system when responses are successfully submitted.
