About this file

This is Amendment No. 1 to Bid No. IW209169 issued by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) Contracts and Procurement Department, providing answers to bidder questions for HVAC units and accessories. The bid opening is scheduled for February 20, 2025, at 3:00 PM. The amendment contains six questions and answers regarding a procurement that includes 15-ton condenser units and related equipment to be delivered to TDCJ facilities.

The amendment clarifies that TDCJ is tax exempt and operates on NET 30 payment terms, with details available in Section 8 of the Standard Terms and Conditions. Alternative brands and specifications will be considered but must include specification submittals with the bid. Vendors must provide their best available delivery date on the bid, and multiple shipments are acceptable. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of this amendment either on the face of their bid or by returning a copy of the notice for their bid to be considered.
