About this file
This Scope of Work document from Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) outlines requirements for tire and tube services for their Fleet Management Office (FMO). The scope covers tire replacement and maintenance services for approximately 25 state vehicles, including various makes (Ford, GM, Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep, Volvo, Freightliner) and types (vans, SUVs, trucks, semi-trailers) from model years 1995-2024. Services include flat repairs, roadside repairs/tire replacement, wheel replacement and refurbishment, valve stem repair/replacement, tire balancing/rotation, road hazard warranties, inspections, and in-shop repairs. Work must be performed during regular business hours (8am-5pm Monday-Friday) at vendor locations throughout Texas and within 50 miles of HHSC's Austin office at 4301 N Lamar Blvd.
The pricing structure requires vendors to provide estimates for FMO review and approval before beginning work. Payment terms specify that vendors will be paid upon satisfactory completion of services in compliance with the scope of work. HHSC FMO personnel are responsible for vehicle drop-off and pickup at vendor locations when available, or may request roadside service through the OTR program. No specific pricing amounts or funding sources are mentioned in the document. The scope does not indicate whether this is a new contract or renewal, nor does it specify any set-asides or incumbent information.
