About this file
This document is a Statement of Work for an Invitation for Bids (IFB) issued by the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) for the removal and installation of new autoclaves and a nitrogen generator system at their facility in Austin, Texas. The project requires the removal of the currently installed autoclave, boiler, and nitrogen generator, and the provision and installation of two new autoclaves and one new nitrogen generator with accessories. A mandatory pre-bid site visit will be held on November 5 and November 6, 2024, and bids must be submitted electronically by 5:00 PM Central Time on November 26, 2024. DPS anticipates awarding the contract by December 3, 2024, with the contract term being one year, with the potential for optional renewal periods.
The IFB does not specify any incumbent vendors or current contractors, and the existing infrastructure or technology that requires integration is not detailed. The total estimated value of the contract is also not provided. However, the contract does include requirements for historically underutilized business subcontracting and compliance with applicable state regulations, as outlined in the HUB Subcontracting Plan and other supporting documents.
