About this file
This document contains the Historically Underutilized Business (HUB) Subcontracting Plan Instructions for Solicitation No. 608-25-91551 issued by the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) for the Motor Carrier Oversize/Overweight Routing and Permitting System. The solicitation is for the maintenance, support, enhancement, and hosting of the agency's existing web-based Texas Permitting and Routing Optimization System (TxPROS), which is used by trucking companies to apply for and obtain Texas oversize/overweight permits and routing information. The instructions define a HUB, explain the state's HUB program, and provide guidance on submitting a completed HUB Subcontracting Plan as part of the respondent's proposal. Failure to include a completed HUB Subcontracting Plan will result in disqualification of the response.
The solicitation is open to all qualified vendors, and there are no set-asides or incumbent contractors mentioned. The instructions do not provide any details on pricing terms, funding requirements or sources, or the contract term and renewal options. The key focus of the document is on the HUB subcontracting requirements for this procurement issued by the State of Texas.
