This document describes a Request for Applications (RFA) issued by the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health (DMH) to establish a pool of existing or planned Early Psychosis Coordinated Specialty Care Programs (EP CSC Programs) to which it can award grants to enhance staffing or assist with the implementation of Evidence Based Practices. The RFA seeks to fund the hiring of Supported Employment and Education (SEE) Specialists, Mental Health Peer Support Specialists, and Milieu Coordinators to provide services to adolescents and young adults with mental illness. The RFA does not specify quantities, response due dates, award dates, or contract terms.
The document outlines the key duties and minimum qualifications for each of the three positions. For the SEE Specialist, these include actively seeking job and educational opportunities, providing vocational assessments and supports, and collaborating with community partners. The Mental Health Peer Support Specialist's responsibilities involve developing wellness plans, facilitating recovery-focused groups, and documenting peer contacts. The Milieu Coordinator is tasked with establishing a therapeutic environment, organizing activities, and overseeing the daily management of the program's milieu. The document does not provide details on pricing, funding sources, or any incumbent service providers.
