About this file
The document is a Bidders' Conference Presentation from the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health (DMH) regarding an Early Psychosis Coordinated Specialty Care Program (EP CSC) Master Agreement Request for Applications. The purpose of the procurement is for DMH to establish a pool of existing or planned EP CSC Programs to which it can award grants to enhance staffing or assist with the implementation of Evidence Based Practices. The project timeline includes an April 12, 2023 RFA release, a May 25, 2023 due date for initial/first round applications, and contract/grant awards to be announced on June 23, 2023. The procurement will close on June 30, 2033. DMH is seeking EP CSC Programs that meet minimum requirements such as appropriate licensure, accreditation, and staffing. Programs will be designated as either Fully Qualified or Provisionally Qualified based on their ability to meet specific criteria.
DMH will prioritize awarding funds to sustain existing, operational EP CSC Programs meeting fidelity standards, as well as programs utilizing funds to hire dedicated Supported Employment/Education Staff, Peer Specialists, and/or Care Coordinators. Preference will also be given to programs that exceed the minimum FTE requirements, provide out-of-clinic programming, serve individuals across the lifespan, provide services regardless of ability to pay, and have a history of successfully integrating peer and/or employment services.
