About this file

This document is an instruction set for completing the Emergency Professional Rate Schedule for the City of Detroit, Michigan, related to an emergency residential demolition project at 3258 Glendale (Building 102 Garage Only). Respondents must provide unit rates for two primary service categories: Demolition (which includes administration, supervisor, laborer, equipment, regulated and non-regulated material trucking, and disposal of asbestos-containing and construction/demolition materials) and Backfill, Grade, & Site Finalization (which includes administration, supervisor, laborer, equipment, and backfill and topfill materials). All rate submissions must be completed in full with no blank fields, and respondents should reference the applicable Scope of Services for clarification on service types as needed.

Respondents must provide a single mean (average) unit rate of measure for each service type, expressed in the specified unit type (such as hourly rates). The City of Detroit explicitly prohibits rate submissions expressed as ranges, supplemental notes or qualifying text, alternate unit types, or incomplete fields and reserves the right to reject submissions that do not comply with these requirements. Additionally, the City reserves the right to request clarification on any submitted unit rate within twenty-four hours, and respondents must provide such clarification within that timeframe. Completion of the Professional Rate Schedule does not constitute acceptance of the submitted rates by the City of Detroit.
