About this file
This is an amendment to a request for proposals for the Automated Surface Observing System Production Requirement. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration is seeking proposals to replace all fielded Automated Weather Observing System equipment over a five-year period. The amendment provides responses to questions from prospective offerors to clarify requirements. It specifies that drawings and technical documentation have been made available to offerors through an online portal. Office space for two government personnel must be provided at the contractor's facility for the duration of the contract to support oversight activities. Testing will utilize government-furnished test equipment, though offerors may propose configurations to improve effectiveness.
Amendment 0002 to answer questions received.
