About this file

This is a Drain & Purge Log template used to track the draining and purging of various commodities (fuel, coolant, oil, batteries, tires, and other materials) as part of a DLA Disposition Services contract for metallic and non-metallic scrap processing at Letterkenny, PA.

The log requires contractors to maintain separate sheets for each commodity category, recording specific details including the date stored, type of commodity (e.g., JP8 fuel, Hawker lead acid batteries, usable/unusable tires), quantity, unit of measure (gallons for liquids, pounds for batteries), contractor initials, recycling/disposal destination EPA ID, date sent, and releasing initial. Contractors must complete entries daily and provide copies to the Sales Point of Contact (SPOC) monthly. The logs must be maintained onsite for the duration of the contract.
