About this file

This is a detailed checklist document outlining the procedures for HH-60W helicopter depot drop-off and pick-up at an OCONUS (outside continental United States) depot facility. The document specifies requirements for both the owning unit and depot facility during aircraft transfer.

The checklist covers three main phases: pre-delivery requirements, arrival procedures, and pick-up procedures. Key requirements include submitting AFTO Form 103 to MAJCOM 90 days prior to induction, performing pre-delivery maintenance and inspections, removing classified equipment and COMSEC items, conducting inventory checks, and completing functional check flights. The document details specific coordination requirements with the USAF Program Authority (PA), documentation procedures, and maintenance responsibilities. For aircraft pick-up, units must perform acceptance inspections, verify maintenance records, conduct inventory checks, and complete a full-profile functional check flight before accepting the aircraft. All procedures must comply with the HH-60W Depot Maintenance Work Specification (DMSPEC) and applicable technical orders.
