About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract solicitation DJA-26-ALAB-PR-0133. The document addresses inquiries from potential contractors regarding the scope of work and technical requirements for what appears to be a power equipment maintenance and service contract.

Key details include: there is no current incumbent, with previous purchases made only through Government Purchase Card transactions with The Power Place. Regarding technical specifications, the solicitation requires "all parts, service and travel provided," which encompasses replacement of components including capacitors and batteries. Contractors inquiring about specific technical details—including the number of battery strings and exact quantities and part numbers for AC and DC capacitors and batteries—were directed to consult the revised "Minimum Technical Requirements" document for clarification. This indicates that detailed component specifications and inventory requirements are contained in that separate technical requirements document rather than addressed directly in this Q&A response.

Text version

1) Is there currently an incumbent? If so, what was the past award amount?

Government Response: There is no incumbent. Previous purchases were only made on a Government Purchase Card to The Power Place.

2) The technical description mentions battery maintenance, but does not specify the number of battery strings, how many are there?

Government Response: Please see the revised “Minimum Technical Requirements”.

3) I’m currently working on Solicitation DJA-26-ALAB-PR-0133 and noticed that the requirements include

“All parts, service and travel provided”

Do you expect that needed replacement of all parts including capacitor and batteries are covered by the agreement?

If that is the case we would need the exact quantity as well as part number for all AC and DC capacitors as well as the batteries.

Government Response: Please see the revised “Minimum Technical Requirements”.
