About this file
This is a facility planning diagram depicting Lab DI sinks that require removal from the DI Loop within a laboratory facility. The drawing illustrates a detailed floor plan layout with color-coded room designations and piping systems, identifying multiple sample locations and decontamination areas throughout the building.
The document identifies 10 lab sinks (Lab Sink 1 through Lab Sink 10) located in various rooms including BB-145, BB-125, BB-141, BB-142, BB-134, BB-110, BB-110, BD-111, BD-124, and BD-135, each assigned corresponding sign labels (DI #1 through DI #10). Additionally, the diagram shows three decontamination sinks (Decontam Sink 1, 2, and 3) and three scope room sinks (Scope Room Sink 1, 2, and 3) with their respective location designations and sign labels. A red-outlined callout box provides technical guidance indicating that DI loop disconnections must be made in the interstitial space above the ceiling to maintain DI loop integrity, with instructions that disconnected sinks may be left in place or removed as part of project scope. The diagram also identifies rough sink locations, equipment designations, and the DI generation system loop-out and loop-return connections necessary for proper facility operation.

The DI lines to the disconnected sinks can be left as is and not demoed or removed as a part of this project.
