About this file
This is an audiovisual systems specification document (Section 274100) for the State of Massachusetts' project at 1 Federal Street Floors 6-7, with AVH Technology Partners serving as the Audiovisual Consultant. The document details requirements for a comprehensive audiovisual systems installation project, including equipment procurement, rack fabrication, low-voltage cabling installation, mounting of displays and projectors, system programming, testing, and training. The Audiovisual Contractor must provide all labor, materials, and services necessary for complete and functioning systems, with work to be performed by technicians having minimum 5 years experience and current CTS certifications. The scope includes installation of ceiling-mounted speakers, flat-panel displays, projectors, and associated infrastructure, as well as providing two end-user training sessions.
The specification outlines that AVH Technology Partners will handle system engineering, technical documentation, and coordination with architects and other trades, while the selected Audiovisual Contractor is responsible for equipment procurement and physical installation. The Audiovisual Contractor must warrant all workmanship for one year from final acceptance and provide separate proposals for one-year and three-year service contracts with at least two tiers of service. Quality assurance requirements include experience installing three similar projects within the past five years. If the Contractor's OFF40 contract expires without an OFF50 award, specific transition services must be provided to DCAMM's selected substitute contractor.
