About this file
This document is a certification form for the Darfur Contracting Act, which applies to companies bidding on or submitting proposals for State of California contracts. The form requires companies that have had business activities or operations outside of the United States within the previous three years to certify that they are not a "scrutinized company" as defined in the Public Contract Code, or to provide written permission from the Department of General Services to submit a bid or proposal.
The related state and local contract opportunity is for the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training (POST) to obtain Certified Electronic Reporter and Transcriber (CERT) services for its quarterly Advisory, Finance, Commission Closed Session, and Commission meetings, as well as Peace Officer Standards and Accountability Board (POSAAB) meetings, for a 12-month period from July 2024 to June 2025.
