About this file
This file is a Questions and Answers document from a federal contract solicitation regarding Government-owned land leasing.
The document addresses two key inquiries. First, it clarifies that a previous reference to three installation site visits in the RFP was an unintentional error and has been removed from the solicitation. Second, it confirms that the solicitation seeks competitive proposals from private, public, and not-for-profit entities interested in leasing non-excess Government-owned land at seven Army Installations for long-term lease agreements. The Government is not considering leasing privately-owned land, as demonstrated by the rejection of a proposal involving a decommissioned power plant on private land that could generate the required power specified in the RFP.
