About this file
This document is a Contractor Certification form related to the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952, specifically for contractors working with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). The certification requires contractors to comply with all legal provisions of immigration laws, including not knowingly employing illegal aliens or foreign nationals in violation of their visa status. Contractors must adhere to E-Verify requirements consistent with Executive Order 12989 and applicable Federal Acquisition Regulations.
The document outlines strict consequences for non-compliance, including potential prohibition of non-compliant foreign nationals from working at VA-related service locations and possible contract termination. Contractors must also obtain similar certifications from their subcontractors. The form includes a warning that making false statements could result in prosecution under 18 U.S.C. 1001, and provides a signature section for the contractor to complete, including spaces for signature, date, name, title, and company name.
