About this file
This document is an Amendment to Solicitation with Questions and Answers for a 10-Bed Transitional Housing and Supportive Services contract issued by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Network Contracting Office 22 in Long Beach, California. The solicitation (Number 36C26225R0114) seeks a contractor to provide transitional housing services for Veterans, with specific requirements including site location within Long Beach or within 20 miles of Orange County, gender-specific accommodations, and compliance with ADA standards.
Key details include a requirement for one ADA-compliant bed, potential for ILF-style supportive living, and specific staffing guidelines such as a full-time licensed supervisor available 24/7 and a case manager with a maximum caseload of 20 Veterans. The contract is an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) type with fixed-priced line items, and contractors are responsible for all facility modifications, equipment, and operational costs. The amendment provides clarifications on various aspects of the solicitation, including site control, clinical services, staffing, therapeutic groups, medication management, and housing placement requirements.
