Contract duration extends 210 calendar days to substantial completion from Notice to Proceed, plus an additional 60 calendar days for final completion. Committee review is tentatively scheduled for November 17, 2026, with Aviation Authority Board approval anticipated for December 16, 2026.
Bidders must provide proof of bondability and maintain performance and payment bonds equal to the total contract price, along with comprehensive insurance coverage including professional liability ($1 million), commercial general liability ($5 million), automobile liability ($5 million), and pollution liability ($1 million). A combined Local Developing Business (LDB) and Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE) participation goal of 2 percent applies to both the base bid and additive alternate 1. Liquidated damages are assessed at $5,600 per calendar day for delays beyond substantial completion and $2,800 per calendar day for delays beyond final completion.
