About this file

The document is a Common Carrier Attestation form for Pinellas County, Florida, specifically related to a contract opportunity with the Pinellas County Convention and Visitors Bureau (Visit St. Pete-Clearwater). The form requires a contractor to attest that they will not willfully transport unauthorized aliens into the state of Florida, except to facilitate their detention, removal, or departure. The attestation is in compliance with Florida Statutes section 908.111 and 92.525, and defines a "common carrier" as a person, firm, or corporation that provides transportation services for hire.

The document includes provisions for contract termination if the contractor is found in violation of the attestation. The form requires an authorized representative of the contractor to sign, providing their name, signature, date, Federal Work Authorization User Identification Number, and the specific Pinellas County contract details. This attestation appears to be a mandatory compliance document for contractors seeking to engage in transportation-related services with Pinellas County, with a specific focus on preventing the unauthorized transportation of individuals within the state of Florida.
