About this file

This is a Common Carrier Attestation form required by Pinellas County, Florida for the Rental & Concession Vendor contract opportunity at Weedon Island. The attestation requires the contractor to confirm compliance with Florida Statute 92.525 and Section 908.111, attesting that the contractor will not knowingly transport unauthorized aliens into the state during the contract term, except to facilitate detention, removal, or departure. An authorized representative of the contractor must execute the attestation under penalties of perjury, providing their printed name, signature, date, Federal Work Authorization User Identification Number, and the specific contract name and number.

Pinellas County reserves the right to terminate the associated agreement for cause if the contractor is found in violation of the common carrier attestation. This requirement applies to any contractor classified as a "common carrier"—defined as a person, firm, or corporation that undertakes for hire as a regular business to transport persons or commodities from place to place, offering services to the public for compensation. The attestation must be completed and submitted as part of the contractor's proposal for the Weedon Island concession services agreement, which involves flexible operational models including on-site rentals, satellite staging with delivery, guided eco-tours, or hybrid service approaches.
