About this file
This is a job aid document from the Massachusetts COMMBUYS procurement system providing vendors with instructions for withdrawing, reopening, and resubmitting quotes in response to state and local contract opportunities. The document outlines a seven-step process that allows vendors with seller privileges to modify and resubmit quotes at any time before the bid opening date, which serves as the submission deadline. Quotes may be withdrawn and resubmitted when files are uploaded incorrectly, relevant documents are inadvertently omitted from the original submission, or when additional information requires inclusion. The modification process allows vendors to update general quote information, add or remove items with associated unit costs, respond to buyer questions, and upload or remove supporting documentation through designated tabs within the COMMBUYS system.
The job aid emphasizes that vendors must have seller credentials to access the quote modification functionality and directs users to navigate through the COMMBUYS portal by accessing submitted quotes through either the Quotes tab or Documents navigation link. Once a quote is withdrawn and reopened, vendors can make all necessary revisions on the General, Items, Questions, and Attachments tabs before confirming compliance with bid requirements and resubmitting through the Summary tab. The document contains no pricing information, set-asides, award dates, contract terms, or renewal options, as it functions solely as a procedural guide for the technical execution of quote management within the COMMBUYS platform.
