Subtask 5: Construction Documents – Sanitary Lift Station and Gravity Piping Removal/Abandonment

Description: Existing sanitary lift stations, #9003.18 and unnamed lift station (adjacent to Area #4) and their associated gravity lines, are inoperable due to impacts of Hurricane Ian. Stantec will prepare construction documents utilizing Collier County’s available base mapping for the removal and/or abandonment of both existing lift stations and their associated gravity lines and manhole structures.

Deliverable:

o Subtask 5: Construction Documents

Performance Measure: Deliverables will be reviewed by the Department to confirm they are complete, accurate, and timely.

A Wastewater Master Plan will be developed to support the full buildout of six (6) Bathhouses (grinder station at each), Entrance Station (grinder station), Ranger Residences and Temporary Office Trailer (gravity tie-in to existing lift station #9003.93). The Master Plan will include an interim plan to satisfy the urgent need for service at the Ranger Residences and the Temporary Office Trailer. Stantec will perform flow demand calculations and model the collection system to generate a conceptual layout which will include a combination of force main, gravity piping, up to seven (7) grinder stations and the one (1) existing lift station #9003.93 (concrete wet well and valve box). Stantec understands this design is dependent on system pressure testing which is to be performed by others (Contractor).
