A carry-in boat launch is located on Duncan Bay and fishing is available both on the bay and on Elliot Creek.
The state park is located three miles southeast of the City of Cheboygan along US 23 on north side of the road.
Built in the late 1960’s the toilet/shower building lacks accessible features and is difficult and expensive to maintain. The beach house pavilion was built and 1974 and includes glue laminated beam construction.
