About this file

This Change Order Notice, issued by the Chief Procurement Office for General Services, documents an extension to Joint Purchase Master Contract (JPMC) 19-416CMS-BOSS4-P-12458 for lab supplies, chemicals, and equipment provided by Central Management Services (CMS). The contract, which initially commenced on November 22, 2019, with an original term through November 21, 2022, has undergone multiple extensions and is now being extended to March 31, 2026. The contract provides laboratory supplies, chemicals, and equipment on an as-needed basis to governmental units as defined in the contract documents. The extension is necessary to allow additional time for CMS to complete the solicitation process for a successor contract.

The change order meets the posting requirement threshold as it extends the contract term by more than 180 days. CMS has determined that the circumstances necessitating this extension are germane to the original contract as signed, and the additional time required to solicit a new contract was not reasonably foreseeable at the time of the original contract execution. The extension is identified under JPMC reference number 26-416CMS-BOSS4-B-50658 and represents a continuation of service delivery rather than a cost increase to the existing contract structure.
