About this file

This document is a Certification Regarding Lobbying form issued by the Nevada State Purchasing Division, Department of Administration. The form serves as a mandatory certification requirement for vendors participating in state and local contract opportunities that involve Federal funding or appropriations.

The certification requires the authorized signer to attest that no Federal appropriated funds have been paid or will be paid to influence any officer or employee of a Federal agency, Congress, or Congressional members in connection with the awarding of Federal contracts, grants, loans, or cooperative agreements. If non-Federal funds have been used for lobbying purposes, vendors must complete and submit Standard Form-LLL, Disclosure of Lobbying Activities, in accordance with its instructions. Vendors must also ensure this certification language is included in all subaward documents at all tiers and require all subrecipients to certify and disclose accordingly. Failure to file the required certification subjects the vendor to civil penalties of not less than $10,000 and not more than $100,000 for each violation, as imposed by section 1352, U.S. Code. The form requires completion of date, solicitation number, vendor name, authorized signer name, and authorized signature fields.
