About this file

This is a Certification Regarding Lobbying form issued by the Nevada State Purchasing Division, Department of Administration, for use in federal contracting activities. The form serves as a mandatory certification document for vendors and contractors engaging in federal contracts, grants, loans, or cooperative agreements administered through Nevada's procurement system.

The certification requires the undersigned vendor to affirm that no federally appropriated funds have been or will be used to influence officers or employees of any federal agency, Members of Congress, or congressional staff in connection with the award of federal contracts, grants, loans, or cooperative agreements. Vendors must also commit to submitting Standard Form-LLL, Disclosure of Lobbying Activities, if any non-federal funds have been or will be paid for lobbying purposes. The certification obligates the vendor to include identical language in all sub-award documents at all tiers, including subcontracts and sub-grants, with all sub-recipients required to certify and disclose accordingly. Failure to submit the required certification subjects the responsible party to civil penalties ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 for each failure. The form requires completion with the solicitation number, vendor name, authorized signer name, authorized signature, and date before submission as a prerequisite for contract award.
