About this file

This is a Certification Regarding Lobbying form issued by the Nevada State Purchasing Division, Department of Administration, applicable to the Integrated Marketing Effectiveness Study solicitation for the Nevada Department of Tourism. The form establishes federal compliance requirements for vendors bidding on this state and local contract opportunity. Vendors must certify that no federal appropriated funds have been paid or will be paid to influence federal agency officers, members of Congress, or congressional staff in connection with the award of any federal contract, grant, loan, or cooperative agreement. The certification applies to all tiers of subcontractors and subrecipients involved in the performance of the contract.

The form requires authorized signers to complete and submit the certification as a material prerequisite to contract award. If any non-federal funds have been used for lobbying activities, vendors must submit Standard Form-LLL, Disclosure of Lobbying Activities, in accordance with its instructions. Failure to file the required certification subjects vendors to civil penalties ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 for each failure, as imposed by section 1352, U.S. Code. The form includes blank fields for the solicitation number, vendor name, authorized signer name, authorized signature, and date to be completed at the time of submission.
