About this file
This is a Certification Regarding Lobbying form issued by the Nevada State Purchasing Division, Department of Administration, applicable to the Travel Nevada Meeting Planner contract opportunity. The form establishes compliance requirements for vendors and subcontractors, certifying that no federal appropriated funds have been or will be used to influence federal officers, members of Congress, or their employees in connection with federal contracts, grants, loans, or cooperative agreements. The undersigned must complete the certification by providing the solicitation number, vendor name, authorized signer name, signature, and date. If non-federally appropriated funds have been or will be paid for lobbying activities related to the federal transaction, the vendor is required to complete and submit Standard Form-LLL, Disclosure of Lobbying Activities, in accordance with specified instructions.
The certification represents a material representation of fact, and submission is a prerequisite for entering into the transaction as mandated by section 1352 of the U.S. Code. All subrecipients, including subcontractors, subgrantees, and contract recipients under grants, loans, and cooperative agreements, must include identical certification language in award documents and certify and disclose accordingly. Failure to file the required certification subjects the responsible party to civil penalties ranging from $10,000 to $100,000 for each failure. This form must be completed and submitted as part of the vendor's proposal package for the Travel Nevada Meeting Planner solicitation.
