The solicitation seeks a contractor to provide comprehensive repair and replacement services for closed-circuit television (CCTV) systems across 14 different properties, including apartments, senior residences, and community centers. The contract term is two years, running from October 1, 2024, to September 30, 2026, with an option to extend for an additional one-year period. The scope of work includes labor for repairing or replacing defective CCTV equipment such as cameras, lenses, enclosures, power supplies, digital and network video recorders, and monitors.
The pricing structure involves hourly labor rates for different categories of workers (electricians, cable splicers, laborers) during regular working hours, after-hours/weekend/holiday periods, and emergency services, with rates differentiated between prevailing and non-prevailing wage scenarios. Contractors must provide proof of state licensing, insurance coverage (including $1 million in general liability and other specified insurance types), and employee certifications. The material markup is capped at 15%, and payment will be processed after voucher approval by the HABC and HDC boards. The Authority reserves the right to add or subtract properties during the contract duration and to seek alternative contractors if the awarded contractor lacks sufficient skills for specific tasks.
