This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation # N4523A22Q1322 is being issued for a firm fixed price single award commercial contract, for First Aid/CPR/ and AED training.
The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2022-04, dated 30 January 2022.
This is a 100% set aside for small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this work is 611699 (All Other Miscellaneous Schools and Instruction), with a Business Size Standard of $12,000,000. The Product Service Code Class is U099 (Specialized educational services).
Puget Sound Naval Shipyard intends to award a firm fixed price commercial contract, for non-personal services to obtain First Aid/CPR/ and AED training services in accordance with the Performance Work Statement. The place of performance is Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, WA. The estimated Period of Performance is as follows:
Base Year 01 June 2022 – 31 May 2023 Option Year 1 01 June 2023 – 31 May 2024 Option Year 2 01 June 2024 – 31 May 2025 Option Year 3 01 June 2025 – 31 May 2026
Vendors shall complete this pricing structure within the Contract Line Item Numbers (CLINs) in its entirety and return with solicitation requirements.

52.217-8 OPTION TO EXTEND SERVICES (NOV 1999)
The Government may require continued performance of any services within the limits and at the rates specified in the contract. These rates may be adjusted only as a result of revisions to prevailing labor rates provided by the Secretary of Labor. The option provision may be exercised more than once, but the total extension of performance hereunder shall not exceed 6 months. The Contracting Officer may exercise the option by written notice to the Contractor within 30 days of contract expiration.

52.217-9 OPTION TO EXTEND THE TERM OF THE CONTRACT (MAR 2000)
(a) The Government may extend the term of this contract by written notice to the Contractor within 30 days; provided that the Government gives the Contractor a preliminary written notice of its intent to extend at least 60 days before the contract expires. The preliminary notice does not commit the Government to an extension.
(b) If the Government exercises this option, the extended contract shall be considered to include this option clause.
(c) The total duration of this contract, including the exercise of any options under this clause, shall not exceed 5 years.
