Project Hapgood Pond Dam Spillway Support
General Information
1.0 Scope of Work
The intent of this project is to furnish all labor, materials, services and equipment to make build supports for the bridge over the Hapgood Pond Dam. The project work shall generally include, but is not limited to: cleaning and preparing the existing concrete, wingwall surface, drilling and grouting rebar into existing concrete, placing rebar and forms, and placing new concrete bridge supports.
2.0 Background
Horizontal cracking was noted during a recent inspection of the bridge over Hapgood Pond Dam at the wingwall that supports the bridge.
Contractor Requirements
3.0 Technical Requirements / Tasks
The contractor shall perform all work as described in the Forest Service Supplemental Specifications to the FP-24, the Federal Highway FP-24 Specifications, and the drawing plans.
4.0 Government Furnished
The Government will not furnish any equipment, materials or supplies for this project.
5.0 Deliverables / Schedule
• Contractor shall complete all work within 120 days of Notice to Proceed.
• The Contractor shall submit a project schedule to the government for consideration and approval prior to receiving a notice to proceed.
• The Contractor shall perform all work after the pond has been drained this fall and before it is filled in the spring.
6.0 Travel
Travel expenses to the project site and during construction shall be included in the mobilization/demobilization costs for the project.
7.0 Contractor’s Key Personnel
The Contractor shall assign workers who are experienced in construction to complete the described project. The personnel shall be experienced with road construction and culvert installation.
8.0 Security Requirements
This project does not have any specific security requirements.
9.0 Data Rights
None.
10.0 Section 508 – Electronic and Information Technology Standards Supply of Information technology is not part of this contract, so Section 508 requirements are not required for information technology. Section 508 requirements for all project communication and documents shall be followed.
