About this file
This is a Solicitation, Offer, and Award (Standard Form 1442) for construction services issued by the USDA Forest Service. This is a Total Small Business Set-Aside; quotations from other-than-small businesses will be rejected. The solicitation number is 1240BH26Q0024, requisition number 1163185, issued June 29, 2026, with a closing date of July 20, 2026, at 1630 PST. The contractor shall begin performance within 14 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed, with a mandatory performance completion date of October 1, 2027. The performance period runs from August 1, 2026, to October 1, 2027. Performance and payment bonds are required, with 10 calendar days for furnishing such bonds after award. This solicitation includes two line items: primary work for Durkee and Town Gulch Post-Fire Range and Wildlife Fence Repair/Construction (delivery to Wallowa-Whitman Forest, Baker City), and an optional line item for Reflective Fence Markers – Vinyl Undersill Trim (delivery to USDA Forest Service Regional Forester R6, Portland).

It is the contractor's responsibility to ensure their quotation clearly demonstrates their capability to meet these requirements.
