About this file
This document is a justification and approval for other than full and open competition for a federal contract opportunity. The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office 10 will award a sole source contract requiring the procurement of a Notifier fire alarm notification system and associated equipment for a project to renovate operating rooms at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center. The estimated value of the Notifier materials is under $150,000. A sole source justification is being used because the Notifier system is the existing fire alarm system and only Notifier parts, software, and firmware will integrate with it to meet NFPA 72 fire code requirements. The entire construction project was competitively awarded to Brigadier Construction Services, LLC for $6,979,000 on September 29, 2020.
