About this file
This document is Addendum No. 1 for Invitation to Bid (ITB) No. 2025-37 issued by the Citrus County School Board for HVAC Contractor Services. The addendum, dated April 16, 2025, maintains the original solicitation deadline of Thursday, May 1, 2025, at 2:00 PM and provides clarifications to bidder questions. The bid seeks a contractor to provide HVAC services district-wide on an as-needed basis, with services to be specified for each individual project upon award.
The addendum addresses two key questions from potential bidders, specifically clarifying details about the bid price sheet. Line Item #6 requests a percentage discount on HVAC equipment, products, parts, and accessories for district-installed projects, with vendors required to provide an electronic price list (in Excel, Word, or PDF) or a website with product pricing. The total pricing, including the negotiated discount, must encompass all freight and delivery charges, with no additional fees permitted. The solicitation emphasizes flexibility in service delivery, allowing the school district to request HVAC services as needed while establishing pre-negotiated pricing and discount structures.
