The IFB establishes mandatory statewide contract(s) for different levels and power ranges of EVSE, with award by individual group. The contract term is 3 years with two 1-year extension options. The IFB provides detailed requirements for the EVSE hardware, installation, maintenance, and network management services. Bidders must meet mandatory technical and administrative requirements, and submit bids by April 10, 2024. A bidders conference was held on March 20, 2024, and all questions must be submitted by March 26, 2024.

It also outlines various socio-economic programs, such as the Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise (DVBE) Incentive and Small Business (SB) Preference, that bidders may qualify for. The contract will serve the State of California, as well as local government agencies in Sacramento County and Sacramento City.
