About this file
This document is a bid specification from the State of California Department of General Services, Procurement Division, for an Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) Network Management System and related services. It sets forth the minimum technical requirements for a user-friendly, secure, and ADA-compliant web-based platform that will allow customers to access real-time station information, make reservations, and receive notifications, as well as provide State administrators with robust management and control functionalities. The specification covers customer features, payment processing, administrator functions, reporting requirements, and NMS contractor responsibilities such as providing software upgrades, issue resolution, and a 24/7 customer support hotline.
The related state and local contract opportunity is for the procurement of EVSE across the State of California, with a specific focus on Sacramento County and Sacramento City. The contract will include provisions for various payment methods, as well as the option for State agencies and departments to set up customized administrator accounts with varying levels of access and control over the EVSE stations. Interested suppliers are encouraged to attend a mandatory bidder's conference to learn more about the requirements and submission process.
