About this file

This is a Bid Bond document related to the Ada County Highway District (ACHD) in Idaho for the Allumbaugh Street reconstruction project extending from Franklin Road to Douglas Street (Contract CT227-04). The project scope includes roadway reconstruction, pedestrian and bicycle facility additions, bridge structure replacement over Ridenbaugh Canal, and railroad crossing preemption upgrades, with the contractor required to coordinate with Union Pacific regarding railroad-related work. The bid bond secures the principal's proposal submission and commitment to enter into a contract with ACHD upon award, contingent upon the contractor providing Performance and Labor and Material Payment bonds within ten calendar days (excluding weekends and legal holidays) of contract presentation.

The bid bond is set at ten percent (10%) of the total proposal amount and binds the principal, surety, and their respective successors and assigns to ACHD. The document is dated 2026 and requires execution by authorized representatives of both the principal and surety, with the surety agent's power-of-attorney documentation required as an attachment. The form is presented as optional for use by the contractor and bonding company, establishing the financial guarantee necessary for proposal submission and contract execution eligibility.
