About this file
This document is a bid amendment from the State of New Jersey Department of the Treasury regarding Bid Solicitation (RFP) #17DPP00058 T3004 for Waterway Debris Assessment Services for Disasters. The amendment includes answers to questions received from vendors regarding the bidding process and contract requirements. Key details include that the intent is to award up to two master blanket purchase orders (contracts) for these services, and vendors are required to submit proof of bonding capacity up to $5 million. The amendment revises the proposal submission due date to February 7, 2017. Vendors are responsible for overseeing the right of entry agreement process with property owners and supporting appeals related to the assessment work, which are reimbursable activities. However, vendors are not responsible for preparing project worksheets for FEMA.
The amendment also clarifies that vendors will not be able to sign individual contracts with each using agency, and that the state contract manager will be the central coordinator of the contract. Vendors are not allowed to take exception to the state's standard terms and conditions. Pricing and other commercial terms are not provided in this amendment, but the revised price schedule is referenced.
