Questions and Answers
Proposal Due Date Change
1) Question: What is the purpose of this Hydra Vision Demo contract BAA?
Answer: To demonstrate Hydra Vision technology on a test bed aircraft using operational type sensor hardware found on a MQ-9 REAPER (e.g., Lynx radar and MTS-B EO ball).
2) Question: Are any technical reports available that describe the algorithms/software?
Answer: None that AFRL is aware of. There is some information available via Google searches. Also, may be able to locate some sources via STINFO.
3) Question: Can you say who developed the existing CLAMP algorithms/software and the approximate technical readiness level?
Answer: CLAMP is an AFRL product with algorithms and software being currently programmed by BAE. The TRL level is about 4 right now.
4) Question: What is more important: CLAMP software knowledge or Reaper flight testing experience?
Answer: Definitely flight testing experience of Reaper's sensor payload (i.e., Lynx radar and MTS-B EO Ball). There are existing CLAMP experts that will help support integration updates for this effort.
