If you fail to pay your 2026 Real Estate Taxes, the City of Philadelphia will file a lien against your property for the amount due: $1,908.75
A lien is a legal claim against a property because of debt owed. At that time, the City may, in accordance with applicable law (53 P.S. § 7106, Philadelphia Code §19-3101), impose charges, expenses and fees. These fees are in addition to the collection of delinquent tax and other municipal claims. These charges include:
• An interest charge of .75% per month, starting January 1, 2027
• An additional penalty charge of 1% each month from February through August of 2027
• A $107.45 lien charge
Additional charges may include a 10% - 18% fee if an outside firm collects on behalf of the City, or a 12% fee if the City collects for itself.
The balance was current as of the date of this letter was created. However, it may not include any payments you made since then or new additions. To view your current balance and other details about your account, please visit the Philadelphia Tax Center at tax-services.phila.gov. You don't need to create a username or password to view your property's account.
If you do not pay now, your debt will grow.
