About this file

This is a Master Tabulation Sheet for a competitive sealed bid solicitation issued by the City of Cocoa, Florida for city-wide contract mowing services under ITB B2613COC. The solicitation requests comprehensive lawn maintenance services across municipal properties, rights-of-way, and medians, including Cocoa Boulevard (U.S. 1) medians spanning approximately 211,000 square feet across 47 segments and King Street (S.R. 520) medians with 8 segments plus eastbound and westbound rights-of-way totaling approximately 252,000 square feet combined. Bidders must submit sealed bids by September 9, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. EST, with written questions due by August 21, 2026. No pre-bid conference or site visit requirement is specified. The City intends to make a minimum of two awards. The contract term is three years beginning October 1, 2026 and ending September 30, 2029, with two optional one-year renewal periods available by mutual agreement, not to exceed five years total. The successful bidder must execute the agreement within ten days of award.

Qualified bidders must hold a current Florida commercial lawn maintenance license and maintain active business registration with the Florida Department of State, with a minimum of five consecutive years of experience in similar lawn maintenance work supported by references. The City offers a 5% local-vendor preference to Brevard County contractors with a physical business address within the county. All grass must be cut to a uniform finished height of four inches with zero streaking, missed patches, or scalping, with all clippings and debris removed immediately from roadways, sidewalks, and adjacent surfaces. Service groups must be completed consecutively without interruption; unjustified delays, partial completion, or skipped locations result in non-acceptance and deduction or short-pay of invoice line items. Liquidated damages for failure to complete work on schedule range from $956 to $2,712 daily depending on contract value. No bid security is required.
